Notts 2 trip 1.2.25It was my (Sophie's) first trip to Notts 2 and I thoroughly enjoyed the 50m descent down the dig. When we reached the streamway the party (minus Nigel) ventured downstream to visit sump 2. On our return we rejoined Nigel, who had been singing to us from the junction and the whole party explored upstream through Curry Inlet. We took our time admiring the many formations before departing. Luckily I was the first up the 50m climb as Nigel, who was last, had the great pleasure of the contents of Damian's wellies which were poured down his neck as he exited the cave. Damian had the enormous cheek to try and blame this on me but his acting was rather lacking.Party: Matt, Grace, Val, Nigel, Martin, Damian and SophieTime: 2.5hrs?Photos: Val

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
