A small YSS contingent tackled Curtain Pot as part of a group of 7 for one of the parties birthday weekend.
Lots of shorter lengths of rope needed since there are a dozen pitches. the logistics of everyone co ordinating bringing all their lesser bits of string took nearly as long as the trip!
Good jaunt out and more tiring than I remember from a previous trip, but the walk in didn't seem as bad as I remembered.
Was actually wetter underground than I expected after all the dry weather, still drippy on the pitches at times.
Me and Lisa shared the de rig, thankfully passing bags forward.
Almost 5 hours underground plus 4 miles of approach and return walks .
Those along Beardy, Julia, John C, Mark M, Dave O, Lisa and Myself.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
