The phone rang 10.00pm wednesday night.jason M wanting shepas for Thursday morning.Of course he will help you said Mavis.So next day having also recruted Rich Mercer from the Kendal C C we met Jason & Ric Stanton,and were given two very large Bottles each to transport to the Cave.& then returned back up the hill & met Ken Wood ( YSS & Kendal CC ) to help with climbing gear & the drill.
We left Jason & Rick who susiquantly dived the deep sumps of Witches Cave & then scaled a 50m high aven.so they could hopefully do a radio location in the next week.so that a digging team can open up a dry entrance
