Fancying something a little less muddy than Saturdays trip in Peak, we opted for a Giants Round trip as the choice of the day. Laddered Garlands for the newbies, then off down the Crabwalk, where we all agreed it does go on a bit. From the eating house it was follow your nose time to the Giants Windpipe which was passed by all with no trouble, possibly helped with the water level being quite low. Once back in the top of the Crabwalk 4 opted to be lowered back to make there way back up the crabwalk while I opted for the alternative.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
