As we just wanted a quick trip we opted for doing Alum Pot South East route, not too much water going in but enough to make it look good. Went down and had alook at the sump which was not too high but there was plenty of evidence it had recently been about 10ft higher.
All that was left then was the steady Prusik back out.
Trip time 1hr30
Pete James, Keith Mason

Depends what route you take Ian, South East is just 2 pitches and a short bit of passage(granted one is 80m) There was also only two of them and Keith is a descendent of Sonic the Hedgehog.

I enjoyed the trip regardless of pitch lengh. The view when you spin round in a daylight shaft is amazing.

Looking forward to the 80m next time Keith

And unlike Titan you can clearly see the bottom.

P.s. I was getting mixed up with the shafts by the way. Never done the 55, 25 one.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
