As it was too late for me to arrange Nigel's 1st choice of evening trip, into Madam Guillotine B), we ended up doing Hungerhill Swallet as last time we tried the big pitch was too wet.
5 of us parked up and after getting changed, we were soon stood in the shakehole looking forward to the squalid entrance crawl :( , once through this and the short squeeze we soon found ourselves at the top of the big pitch(Deep Space).
Although it was a tad wet we decided to carry on and pretty soon we were all stood at the bottom of a very wet pitch :woohoo: , from here we dropped our SRT kit off and headed off to the Bag of Worms then carried on through the tight section to have a look at the pretties. From there it was a case of about turn and make our way back out, nice to get all your kit washed of prussiking up Deep Space :) shame it got covered in shite going back through the entrance crawl :(
Trip time 2hrs40
Nigel Steel, Stu Weston, Julie Butcher, Column Walsh, Keith Mason

Thanks Keith for organising this, some stunning formations in that little chamber which due to the tight rift and boulder slope aproach should remain fairly untouched, in fact not many people may see it again if all those loose boulders give way!!!
Thanks to Nigel for bullying me into a Wednesday evening trip.
Still washing gear off, that mud sticks like s**t.

A most excellent trip, my second favorite derbyshire trip, some interesting manouvers, a fabulous pitch and a truly outstanding chamber with the most marvellous formation, those stalactites were like pure ice and the hellictites defied gravity like a fart in a meander suit, how do they do that? Even the crawl out was fun, a truly magical night cheers Keith for sorting it and the team for making it happen.
